How will my item be shipped? U.S. bound orders all ship via USPS with delivery
confirmation whether you choose 1st Class or Priority Mail--you will receive a tracking number via email when your order is prepared. U.S. bound orders of $50+ ship insured. International shipments are NOT insured or traceable unless shipping is upgraded to Express Mail. If you would like an estimate, please contact Amber via the email form at the bottom of this page.
Customization? ALL rings are made to fit, & some can be personalized with lettering:, such as names, dates, etc. Many "hook" earrings can be made with posts, & vice versa Some items can be made using a different type of metal, patina, etc. Whatever you have in mind, please contact Amber via email before placing your order to be sure the change is indeed possible. Custom orders are always welcomed!
I want to send a gift. All orders arrive in a recycled brown jewelry box, & are tied with a pretty organza ribbon which can slide off & back on the box for your pre-gifting inspection (should you have it shipped to you). PayPal DOES allow you to use an alternate address for sending gifts, so please take this into consideration when ordering. In an effort to conserve paper, NO TANGIBLE RECEIPTS are included, & multiple items are sent in ONE jewelry box unless requested otherwise. Orders are packaged securely.
Turnaround / Lead Time? Amber's turnaround time (TAT) can sometimes take as much as 3 weeks before shipping, depending upon the items, order size, time of year, & Amber's schedule. Feel free to inquire about her current TAT for any specific item by conttacing Amber directly. Should your order be delayed for any reason, you will be informed & given an estimated ship date. Many items are ready to ship - please allow up to
4 business days for these items to be packaged by hand & shipped. If you need your order shipped quickly, please inquire about the current rush fee rate for that item. Fee varies depending upon the item, time of year, materials on hand,
& Amber's schedule. Gold may need to be special ordered for commissions, adding approx. 5 business days to the TAT.
Repairs / Returns? Repairs will be made for the life of the jewelry. Depending upon the situation, repairs may cost a nominal fee or be free of charge. Please contact Amber via email, as she prefers to handle
repairs on a case-by-case basis. *Metal WILL BREAK with repeated stress. Also, be sure of ring size prior to ordering--otherwise you may be charged a resize fee. Fee depends upon the adjustment needed, & sometimes an entirely new ring must be made. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact Amber via email within 3 days of receipt. She will work with you to find a solution, because she wants you to
be happy with your jewelry!
Wholesale? Yes, most definitely! Please contact Amber via the email form below with your business info. You must provide a tax id number in order to receive Amber's current linesheet. Please note that not all items are available for wholesale, and some items are not sold at the standard wholesale price.
Materials & Ingredients? Amber proudly runs a "green", eco-friendly buiness. All sterling silver & gold used (wire, sheet, etc.) is 100% recycled, reclaimed, refined, & nickle-free stock. Most brass incorporated in the jewelry is unused vintage or antique stock, or may be deconstructed components from found vintage jewelry or objects. Some of these pieces are very old indeed, & have histories that may forever remain a complete mystery - something Amber finds to be one of the most romantic aspects of her work. She never uses any harsh chemicals during the fabrication process, & acquires a matte finish either by a non-toxic form of etching, or by use of special abrasives. All solders used contain no lead or cadmium. Packaging, shipping materials, & business cards are recycled as well, & in an effort to conserve resources invoices are never included with orders. Receipts are available online should the need to print them arise.
